| F*CK!!! Sometimes, I just hate my Z! This summer, I must have driven my Z less than 10 times because she's been undergoing some minor surgery. I planned to install a bunch of adjustable suspension components - coilovers, front adjustable tension rods, FUCAs, RUCAs. I also planned to install a new steering rack at the same time because mine has been busted for quite a while. My Z has been sitting in the garage for weeks because I have never found enough time to complete everything. I also work pretty slowly and to be honest, swapping the steering rack was the biggest job I have done on the Z thus far and I had no clue what I was doing! Anyhow, I was about to wrap everything up tonight. I start bleeding the steering rack. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until I realized power steering fluid was spurting all over the ground. After cleaning up the mess, I crawl under to see where exactly the leak is coming from. Of course, one of the high pressure bolts was too loose. I was a little impatient, so I decided to use a breaker bar to tighten the sucker up. What was I thinking??? BAD MOVE!! The bolt friggin shears off, half of it is left stuck in the steering rack and the rest of the power steering fluid pours down onto my chest. ARGHHHHHHHH!!! I can't even do anything with my Z now until I figure out how to remove the threaded portion of the bolt. Out of commission once again. Sigh........ [End Rant] Someone please tell me stories of failure to make me feel a little better...
